Who is STL Auto Shield?

Marek (Mark) Parafiniuk is St. Louis’ Paint Protection Film (PPF) pioneer. As an automotive enthusiast, Mark saw the benefits PPF could bring to St. Louis by protecting his client’s vehicles from rock chips, bugs, and scratches that wear and tear cars daily. In 2001, Mark and his wife, Monika, started their business (clear auto bra) out of the garage behind their home in Brentwood, Missouri. With a focus on and dedication to detail, hard work, excellent customer service, and the support of their clients, they were able to open their direct retail installation facility in Webster Groves; later expanding to a larger location in Maryland Heights.

 

With all the long hours, there was a lot of sacrifice on family life. In 2017, the family decided to let their well respected, small business go and they sold it to another party. After the sale, Mark spent time with his family, and enjoyed retirement. However, he missed working in the automotive paint protection film industry. So, he began to travel in other parts of the United States and Europe consulting with automotive window tint and paint protection companies. After five years of “retirement” and a line of customers calling for Mark to come back, he decided that it was time for him to jump back into the growing automotive aftermarket field. With the support of Monika and his kids, he created STL Auto Shield. He is now continuing to do what he loves, installing and overseeing the daily operations of the new facility specializing in paint protection film, automotive window tint and ceramic coatings located in Rock Hill, MO.

 

Outside of the business, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and cracking jokes with his three children: Nicholas, Maya, and Paul. The family enjoys swimming and traveling to visit family in Poland (where Mark and Monika are originally from). Mark also volunteers as an Executive Board Member of the Porsche Club of America Saint Louis Region and High Performance Driving Instructor for the Club at World Wide Technology Raceway.
